E.T. (by Katy Perry)

File:ETofficialKanyecover.jpg
"E.T." is a song by American recording artist Katy Perry from her third studio album Teenage Dream (2010). Written by Perry, Dr. Luke, Max Martin, and Ammo, and produced by the last three, it was released as the album's third promotional single on August 17, 2010. The song was later announced as the album's fourth single and released on February 16, 2011. The single version features vocals by American rapper Kanye West, who also appears in its Floria Sigismondi-directed music video released on March 31, 2011.
Over a "stomp-stomp-clap" beat similar to Queen's "We Will Rock You" (1977), "E.T." is an electronic ballad that tells of "falling in love with a foreigner". Extraterrestial metaphors are used throughout, and West continues these metaphors in his two verses, making heavy use of Auto-Tune at times. The song peaked at number one in the U.S., Canada, New Zealand and Poland as well as within the top five in Australia, Ireland and the United Kingdom and the top twenty in ten other European countries.

Here's the Katy Perry's lyrics from elyrics.net:
You're so hypnotizing
Could you be the devil? Could you be an angel?
Your touch magnetizing
Feels like I am floating, leaves my body glowing

They say be afraid
You're not like the others, futuristic lover
Different DNA
They don't understand you

You're from a whole other world
A different dimension
You open my eyes
And I'm ready to go, lead me into the light

Kiss me, ki-ki-kiss me
Infect me with your love and
Fill me with your poison

Take me, ta-ta-take me
Wanna be a victim
Ready for abduction

Boy, you're an alien
Your touch so foreign
It's supernatural
Extraterrestrial

You're so supersonic
Wanna feel your powers, stun me with your lasers
Your kiss is cosmic
Every move is magic

You're from a whole other world
A different dimension
You open my eyes
And I'm ready to go, lead me into the light

Kiss me, ki-ki-kiss me
Infect me with your love and
Fill me with your poison

Take me, ta-ta-take me
Wanna be a victim
Ready for abduction

Boy, you're an alien
Your touch so foreign
It's supernatural
Extraterrestrial

This is transcendental
On another level
Boy, you're my lucky star

I wanna walk on your wavelength
And be there when you vibrate
For you I'll risk it all

Kiss me, ki-ki-kiss me
Infect me with your love and
Fill me with your poison

Take me, ta-ta-take me
Wanna be a victim
Ready for abduction

Boy, you're an alien
Your touch so foreign
It's supernatural
Extraterrestrial, extraterrestrial, extraterrestrial

Boy, you're an alien
Your touch so foreign
It's supernatural
Extraterrestrial

Rolling In The Deep (by Adele)

"Rolling in the Deep" is a song by the British singer-songwriter Adele from her second studio album, 21. The song was written by Adele and Paul Epworth and has been described by Adele as a "dark blues-y gospel disco tune". It was released as the lead single on 29 November 2010 in the Netherlands. "Rolling in the Deep'" became Adele's first number-one single and first top five hit in several countries.
The song has been positively received by music critics. It peaked at number one in Belgium, Canada, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Switzerland and the United States and became a top ten hit in Austria, Denmark, Ireland, New Zealand and Norway. The song debuted at number two in the United Kingdom, becoming Adele's third top ten single.
Upon its American release, "Rolling in the Deep" became Adele's second single to chart in that country. Later on, it became her first ever single to top a Billboard chart when it reached number one on the Hot Adult Top 40 Tracks chart in March 2011, and became her first number one hit in the country when it topped the Billboard Hot 100  in May 2011. As a result, Adele became the first British singer to have topped both the Billboard Hot 100 and Billboard 200 charts in the same week since Leona Lewis did the same back in 2008. The following week Adele maintained her number one positions becoming the first British artist to hang on for more than one week since Phil Collins back in 1989-90 and the first female to do so in the chart's history. As of May 2011, "Rolling in the Deep" had sold over 2 million digital copies in the US. making it her best-selling single there, topping her previous best-selling single "Chasing Pavements".
As of May 2011, it's the 3rd best-selling single of 2011 in the USA behind Katy Perry's "E.T." and Cee Lo Green's "Fuck You!". It's the first song to be at No. 1 after having charted for 20 weeks since Lady Gaga's Just Dance which still topped the Billboard Hot 100 in its 22nd week.
"Rolling in the Deep" was featured as the theme song in the sci-fi thriller I Am Number Four.

Here's Adele's Rolling In The Deep lyrics from elyrics.net:

There's a fire starting in my heart,
Reaching a fever pitch and it's bringing me out the dark,

Finally, I can see you crystal clear,
Go ahead and sell me out and a I'll lay your ship bare,
See how I'll leave with every piece of you,
Don't underestimate the things that I will do,

There's a fire starting in my heart,
Reaching a fever pitch and it's bring me out the dark,

The scars of your love remind me of us,
They keep me thinking that we almost had it all,
The scars of your love, they leave me breathless,
I can't help feeling,

We could have had it all,
(You're gonna wish you never had met me),
Rolling in the deep,
(Tears are gonna fall, rolling in the deep),
You had my heart inside your hand,
(You're gonna wish you never had met me),
And you played it to the beat,
(Tears are gonna fall, rolling in the deep),

Baby, I have no story to be told,
But I've heard one on you and I'm gonna make your head burn,
Think of me in the depths of your despair,
Make a home down there as mine sure won't be shared,

The scars of your love remind me of us,
(You're gonna wish you never had met me),
They keep me thinking that we almost had it all,
(Tears are gonna fall, rolling in the deep),
The scars of your love, they leave me breathless,
(You're gonna wish you never had met me),
I can't help feeling,
(Tears are gonna fall, rolling in the deep),

We could have had it all,
(You're gonna wish you never had met me),
Rolling in the deep,
(Tears are gonna fall, rolling in the deep),
You had my heart inside your hand,
(You're gonna wish you never had met me),
And you played it to the beat,
(Tears are gonna fall, rolling in the deep),

Could have had it all,
Rolling in the deep,
You had my heart inside your hand,
But you played it with a beating,

Throw your soul through every open door,
Count your blessings to find what you look for,
Turn my sorrow into treasured gold,
You'll pay me back in kind and reap just what you've sown,

(You're gonna wish you never had met me),
We could have had it all,
(Tears are gonna fall, rolling in the deep),
We could have had it all,
(You're gonna wish you never had met me),
It all, it all, it all,
(Tears are gonna fall, rolling in the deep),

We could have had it all,
(You're gonna wish you never had met me),
Rolling in the deep,
(Tears are gonna fall, rolling in the deep),
You had my heart inside your hand,
(You're gonna wish you never had met me),
And you played it to the beat,
(Tears are gonna fall, rolling in the deep),

Could have had it all,
(You're gonna wish you never had met me),
Rolling in the deep,
(Tears are gonna fall, rolling in the deep),
You had my heart inside your hand,
(You're gonna wish you never had met me),

But you played it,
You played it,
You played it,
You played it to the beat.

Judas (by Lady Gaga)

File:Judassinglecover.jpg
"Judas" is a song by American recording artist Lady Gaga, taken from her upcoming second studio album Born This Way (2011). The song was released worldwide on April 15, 2011, four days ahead of its scheduled release, by Interscope Records. Written and produced by Lady Gaga and RedOne, "Judas" is a dance song that speaks of a woman in love with a man who betrays her while simultaneously embodying things that have haunted her in the past, thus representing something that was bad for her – something she could not escape. Gaga explained that it's also about "honoring your darkness in order to bring yourself into the light, [...] You have to look into what’s haunting you and need to learn to forgive yourself in order to move on."
"Judas" has a similar sound to Gaga's previous singles like "Poker Face", "LoveGame", "Bad Romance", and "Alejandro', and contains three distinct hooks and a break down influenced by house music. The breakdown contains influences of tribal-techno and dubstep. Gaga explained that the lines spoken during the breakdown talks about her being beyond the ability to redeem herself, in terms of the traditional views of what a woman is supposed to be. The artwork for the single was designed by Gaga in Microsoft Word\ and features a black background with the word "Judas" written in red capital letters in Impact font. It was released via her web video series,Transmission Gagavision. Critics noted similarity between "Judas" and "Bad Romance", but praised the musical production of the song, complimenting its energy and the robotic break down.
A music video for the song was filmed in early April, co-directed by Gaga and Laurieann Gibson and co-starring Norman Reedus. It includes a Biblical storyline where Reedus plays Judas Iscariot and Gaga plays Mary Magdalene. Prior to its release, the Catholic League condemned Gaga for the alleged use of religious imagery and her role as Magdalene in the video.
"Judas" was revealed as the name of the second single in Lady Gaga's interview for Vogue. Gaga confirmed "Judas" on Ryan Seacrest's radio show on February 14, 2011. RedOne was revealed as the co-producer of the song. At the 53rd Grammy Awards, he told MTV News that if the previous single from Born This Way, the title track, blew "your socks off, then you really need to wait for the next single.... I'm not gonna tell you the title, but the next single, it's ... I don't want to say. It's gonna gonna shock, [...]You're gonna be surprised and wanna go crazy." Fernando Garibay, one of the producers of Born This Way felt that the song was about sometimes not choosing the right choice. "But you can't deny that the choice is not a part of you and who you are", he added. On the radio show Last Call with Carson Daly, Gaga explained to the host Carson Daly that "Judas" was "about always falling in love with the wrong man over and over again, 'Judas' is a very, very dark song. It's rad." With MSN Canada, Gaga revealed the metaphor behind the song as:
"'Judas' is a metaphor and an analogy about forgiveness and betrayal and things that haunt you in your life and how I believe that it's the darkness in your life that ultimately shines and illuminates the greater light that you have upon you. Someone once said to me, 'If you have no shadows then you're not standing in the light.' So the song is about washing the feet of both good and evil and understanding and forgiving the demons from your past in order to move into the greatness of your future. I just like really aggressive metaphors—harder, thicker, darker—and my fans do as well. So it is a very challenging and aggressive metaphor, but it is a metaphor.
Gaga further explained the inspiration behind the song: "It’s about constantly walking towards the light in my life, but always clutching onto the light while peering towards the devil in the back, [...] I sing about what a holy fool I am, and that although moments in my life are so cruel and relationships can be so cruel I’m still in love with Judas. I still go back again to those evil things."During her interview with Google, Gaga added to the song's meaning as about "honoring your darkness in order to bring yourself into the light, [...] You have to look into what’s haunting you and need to learn to forgive yourself in order to move on. And it’s really fun to dance to." She had also previously explained to Popjustice that she has a lot of things that have haunted her from her past, including her choices, men, drug abuse, being afraid to go back to New York, confronting old romances. Hence "Judas" represented something that was bad for her, something she cannot escape. Gaga said: I keep going back and forth between the darkness and the light in order to understand who I am."

Judas's lyrics from lyricsmode.com:
Ohohohoh
I'm in love with Judas, Judas

Ohohohoh
I'm in love with Judas, Judas

Judas! Juda-as Judas! Juda-as
Judas! Juda-as Judas! GAGA

[Lady Gaga - Verse 1]
When he comes to me, I am ready
I'll wash his feet with my hair if he needs
Forgive him when his tongue lies through his brain
Even after three times, he betrays me

I'll bring him down, bring him down, down
A king with no crown, king with no crown

[Chorus]

I'm just a Holy Fool, oh baby he's so cruel
But still I'm in love with Judas, baby
I'm just a Holy Fool, oh baby he's so cruel
But still I'm in love with Judas, baby

Ohohohoh
I'm in love with Judas, Judas

Ohohohoh
I'm in love with Judas, Judas

Judas! Juda-as Judas! Juda-as
Judas! Juda-as Judas! GAGA

[Lady Gaga - Verse 2]
I couldn't love a man so purely
Even prophets forgave his crooked way
I've learned love is like a brick you can
Build a house or sink a dead body
I'll bring him down, bring him down, down
A king with no crown, king with no crown

[Chorus]
I'm just a Holy Fool, oh baby he's so cruel
But still I'm in love with Judas, baby
I'm just a Holy Fool, oh baby he's so cruel
But still I'm in love with Judas, baby

Ohohohoh
I'm in love with Judas, Judas

Ohohohoh
I'm in love with Judas, Judas

[Bridge]
In the most Biblical sense,
I am beyond repentance
Fame hooker, prostitute wench, vomits her mind
But in the cultural sense
I just speak in future tense
Judas kiss me if offenced,
Or wear an ear condom next time

I wanna love you,
But something's pulling me away from you
Jesus is my virtue,
And Judas is the demon I cling to
I cling to

[Chorus]
I'm just a Holy Fool, oh baby he's so cruel
But still I'm in love with Judas, baby
I'm just a Holy Fool, oh baby he's so cruel
But still I'm in love with Judas, baby

Ohohohoh
I'm in love with Judas, Judas

Ohohohoh
I'm in love with Judas, Judas

Judas! Juda-as Judas! Juda-as
Judas! Juda-as Judas! GAGA

Born This Way (by Lady Gaga)

Deluxe Edition Cover
Born This Way is the forthcoming second studio album by American recording artist Lady Gaga. The album is scheduled for release on May 23, 2011 by Interscope Records. Preceding its release, the album's eponymous lead single "Born This Way" debuted on February 11, 2011 while its second single "Judas' was released on April 15, 2011.
The album's title was revealed as Gaga accepted the 2010 MTV Video Music Award for Video of the Year, while the release date was confirmed on her official Twitter page at the stroke of midnight on New Year's Day 2011.
By late March 2010, Gaga stated that she had begun working upon new material for Born This Way; adding that she had "already written the core of it." Three months later, she commented that she "felt very strongly" that she had completed the album. Upon being interviewed, she said, "It came so quickly. I've been working on it for months, and I feel very strongly that it's finished right now. Some artists take years. I don't. I write music every day."
By the last quarter of 2010, Troy Carter, Gaga's manager, and frequent collaborator/producer RedOne gave personal opinions upon the album. Carter explained that they were just starting to play the album to the label. He said, "We're very excited about [Born This Way]. We're starting to play a little for people and getting a feel for it, and she's done an incredible job, a really incredible job. Well, you know what, it's not where I go from a business standpoint, it's more about where she goes creatively because, truth be told, we built the business around her creative infrastructure and that business that was built is unique to Lady Gaga." RedOne added, "I think it's more of her freedom album. [... T]his album that she's making is too precious to talk about. [...] I think it's too precious for me to talk about it."

A total of seventeen tracks were recorded for the new album, fourteen will appear on the standard edition. The three other tracks, along with five bonus remixes, were going to be packaged together in a two-disc expanded edition, sold exclusively by Target; however, Gaga has since called off the deal, because of her disagreement with Target's involvement with anti-LGBT organizations. Consequently, the expanded edition of the album is no longer exclusive to Target. On May 1, Gaga tweeted that the full listings would be posted the following day at 11am PST. Alejandro (by Lady Gaga)

Greyscale image of a young woman, with unkempt black hair which falls around her face. A crow sits on top of her head. The woman keeps her eyes closed.
"Alejandro" is a song by American recording artist Lady Gaga. It was released as the third and final single from her third extended play (EP) and second major release The Fame Monster (2009). Co-written and produced by RedOne and inspired by her "Fear of Sex Monster", the lyrics portray Gaga bidding farewell to her lovers.
Musically, it is composed as a mid-tempo Europop song with an uplifting melody. Contemporary critics predominantly gave positive reviews for it and noted its heavy influence from pop groups like ABBA and Ace of Base. The song charted in the United Kingdom and Hungary due to digital sales following the album's release. Upon release, "Alejandro" charted again in the United Kingdom as well as in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Sweden, and the United States while topping the Finnish, Polish, Russian, Bulgarian and Romanian charts. "Alejandro" became Gaga's seventh successive single to reach the top-ten of the Billboard Hot 100.
The accompanying music video was directed by fashion photographer Steven Klein was inspired by Gaga's love for her gay friends and admiration of gay love. Within the video, Gaga dances with a group of soldiers in a cabaret which is interspersed with scenes of Gaga as a nun swallowing a rosary and near-naked men holding machine guns. Controversial, the music video received mixed to positive reviews. Critics complimented its idea and dark nature while the Catholic League attacked Gaga for appearing to use blasphemy despite Klein dismissing the idea and claiming that the scene in question (the swallowing of Rosary beads) was Gaga's "desire to take in the Holy".
Gaga performed on the ninth season of American Idol and was performed on all dates of The Monster Ball Tour.
There are some articles too which gives an occult interpretation to this song, one of which is from vigilantcitizen.com. To fully read the occult meaning according to vigilantcitizen.com, visit the said article.
"Alejandro" is written by Lady Gaga and RedOne, while the latter produced the song. It was recorded at FC Walvisch Studios in Amsterdam. Originally, "Dance in the Dark" was planned to be released as the third single from The Fame Monster, as a preference of Gaga's record label. The singer's own choice, "Alejandro", initially saw poor reception in terms of radio play, thereby was not seen as a viable choice for a single. A quarrel then arose between Gaga and her label where "Alejandro" was ultimately chosen to be released. Through her account on  Twitter, the singer remarked on the decision, "Alejandro is on the radio. Fuck it sounds so good, we did it little monsters." The single was officially sent to radio on April 20, 2010 in the United States. In an interview with Fuse TV, Gaga said that the inspiration behind "Alejandro" was her "Fear of Sex Monster".

Here's the lyrics from elyricsworld.com:

I know that we are young.
And I know you may love me.
But I just can't be with you like this anymore.
Alejandro.

She's got both hands
in her pocket.
And she won't look at you,
Won't look at you

She hides true love
En su bolsillo.
She's got a halo 'around her finger.
Around you.

You know that I love you boy.
Hot like Mexico, rejoice.
At this point I gotta choose,
nothing to loose.

Don't call my name.
Don't call my name, Alejandro.
I'm not your babe.
I'm not your babe, Fernando.

Don't wanna kiss, don't wanna touch.
Just smoke my cigarrette and hush.
Don't call my name.
Don't call my name, Roberto.

Alejandro.
Alejandro.
Ale-ale-jandro.
Ale-ale-jandro. [2x]

(Just stop. Please. Just let me go. Alejandro. Just let me go.)

She's not broken,
She's just a baby.
But her boyfriend's like a dad, just like a dad.
and all those flames that burned before him.
Now he's gonna fight your fight, gonna cool the bad.

You know that I love you boy.
Hot like Mexico, rejoice.
At this point I gotta choose,
nothing to loose

Don't call my name.
Don't call my name, Alejandro.
I'm not your babe.
I'm not your babe, Fernando.

Don't wanna kiss, don't wanna touch.
Just smoke my cigarette and hush.
Don't call my name.
Don't call my name, Roberto.

Alejandro.
Alejandro.
Ale-ale-jandro.
Ale-ale-jandro. [2x]

Don't bother me.
Don't bother me. Alejandro
Don't call my name.
Don't call my name, Fernando.

I'm not your babe.
I'm not your babe, Alejandro.

Don't wanna kiss, don't wanna touch. Fernando.

Don't call my name.
Don't call my name, Alejandro.
I'm not your babe.

Who is Lady Gaga?

Portrait of a young, pale-skinned Caucasian female with blond hair
Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta (born March 28, 1986), better known by her stage name Lady Gaga, is an American pop singer-songwrite. After performing in the rock music scene of New York City's Lower East Side in 2003 and later enrolling at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, she soon signed with Streamline Records, an imprint of Interscope Records. During her early time at Interscope, she worked as a songwriter for fellow label artists and captured the attention of rapper Akon, who recognized her vocal abilities, and signed her to his own label, Kon Live Disctrivution.
Gaga came to prominence following the release of her debut studio album The Fame (2008), which was a commercial success and achieved international popularity with the singles "Just Dance" and "Poker Face". The album reached number one on the record charts of six countries, accomplished positions within the top-ten worldwide, and topped the Billboard Dance/Electronic Albums chart while simultaneously peaking at number two on the Billboard 200 chart in the United States. Achieving similar worldwide success, The Fame Monster (2009), its follow-up, produced a further two global chart-topping singles "Bad Romance" and "Telephone" and allowed her to embark on a second global headlining concert tour, The Monster Ball Tour, just months after having finished her first, The Fame Ball Tour. Her second studio album, Born This Way, is scheduled for release on May 23, 2011 after the arrival of its eponymous lead single "Born This Way", which achieved the number-one spot in countries worldwide and was the fastest-selling single in iTunes history, selling one million copies in five days.
Inspired by glam rock artists like David Bowie, Elton John and Quenn, as well as pop singers such as Madonna, Michael Jackson, and Amy Winehouse, Gaga is well-recognized for her outré sense of style in fashion, in performance and in her music videos. Her contributions to the music industry have garnered her numerous achievements including five Grammy Awards, among twelve nominations; two Guinness World Records; and the estimated sale of fifteen million albums and fifty-one million singles worldwide. Billboard named her both the Artist of the Year in 2010 and the top selling artist of 2010; ranking her as the 73rd Artist of the 2000s decade. Gaga has been included in Time magazine's annual Time 100 list of the most influential people in the world as well as Forbes' list of the 100 Most Powerful and Influential celebrities in the world. Forbes also placed her at number seven on their annual list of the World's 100 Most Powerful Women.
